Wellness Night
We were in charge of wellness night at the school. Wellness night is when the kids come back to the school in the evenings and we teach them a variety of games to play. After we teach them to play the games, we play with them and have a lot of fun. This was a really good experience to be able to play with the kids. I learned how difficult it can be to get a bunch of kids to listen to you. I enjoyed playing with the kids and just being around them. This activity will help me in the future in dealing with kids and having fun with them.

Individual Hours
Gun Show
Mr. Greenlee announced that Gene Garcia needed help at the gun show, so I contacted Gene and we went from there. I was a door guard at the gun at the gun show and I ran any errands that Gene needed me to do. As a door guard, I basically had to make sure nobody came in or went out the doors that weren't the main entrance. Also, I would go get anything Gene needed or even ran his shop. I would say I actually learned a lot about guns while at this event. I was right by Gene most of the time and heard him talking about guns to people. I probably enjoyed looking at all the guns the most while I was there. My least favorite part had to be standing there for five hours. I would say it impacted my life in a positive way, because I had the opportunity to learn more about guns.

City Wide Work Day
Casie Risley made me aware of this activity, and this is also who I made arrangements with.
For this activity, people would bring us junk that they wanted to get rid of and we would unload it into huge trash barrels.I learned that it is really hard to unload stuff out of the back of trucks whenever there is ice and snow on the ground. I probably enjoyed being with the city guys and working with them most of all. My least favorite part was when it was snowing the whole time and I was really cold. It impacted my life in a positive way because it made me realize that I wanted to be involved in my community more.

Preparing Baseball/Softball Fields
Sean Blosser made me aware of this activity and he is also who I made arrangements with. For this activity, I chalked both fields everyday of the week, moved the bases from softball length to baseball length and vice versa, changed out the mounds, and made the batter's box for each field everyday. I learned how to chalk fields, where to move the bases from softball to baseball, how to take out a mound and replace it, and how to make a batter’s box. I enjoyed making the batter’s box the most because it was the easiest thing I did. My least favorite part would be chalking the fields, because it is very hard to make a straight line when the wheel to the chalker is falling off. It impacted my life in a positive Lining the batter's box. way because I learned something new. It affected my future for the better because I will now know how to prepare a field if I ever have to again.
