House Divided, Family United
I have been around The University of Oklahoma and Kansas State University for as long as I can remember. My moms side of the family are all OU fans, and my dad's said are all K-State fans. My mom attended OU and my dad attended K-State, so I never really picked a side when I was younger. As I have grown older, I have started to lean more towards OU because we are always down there for football and basketball games. I have been going to OU games since I was two years old. It's something I Iove to do, and hope I will be able to give my future family the same experience that I had growing up. This last year, I was fortunate enough to be asked to go on a visit to K-State for football. I got to see the facilities, eat breakfast where the team eats, and go down onto the sideline before the game. This was an awesome experience and I'm glad my Dad and my little brother got to be a part of it with me.
Trips
l have been on many trips so far in my life. In June of 2013, my family on my dad's side took us to Galveston, Texas to the beach. We were there for about a week and it was a blast. In July of 2015, just my immediate family went to Orlando, Florida to Disney World. This was the first time that I had ever been to Florida and it was a lot of fun. In April of 2016, OU made it to the Final Four in Houston, Texas, and we got to go. This was a very cool experience and I hope I get the opportunity to go again. In March of 2017, I went to Disney World again with the CHS band to perform. It was awesome to get to share such a fun experience with my friends. In March of 2018, I got to go to Washington D.C. and New York City as a member of NHS. This was one of the coolest experiences of my life because I got to see some of the most cherished things in the history of the United States. It made it even better that I got to experience it with my friends and my mother. I hope I get to experience more trips like this in the future!
